Ferhan G. Sağın is a full professor at the Department of Medical Biochemistry at Ege University Medical Faculty, Izmir, Turkey. As the Vice President of the Turkish Biochemical Society, Chair of the FEBS Education Committee, and member of IUBMB Education Committee, she is a prominent figure in the field of Medical Biochemistry.

Ferhan G. Sağın has been dedicated to education and educational research, with a focus on innovative teaching methods and student assessment. Her expertise in Educational technologies, Team-Based Learning (TBL), and mentoring has resulted in successful outcomes and garnered recognition from the academic community. She has presented her work and experiences in more than 250 national or international presentations. In the last 15 years, she has given talks & conducted workshops in many international conferences such as FEBS Congresses, Asian Pacific Medical Education Conference,  and International Association of Medical Science Educators Conference.
